Bio

Laura Pohl was born in Braunschweig, Germany to brazilian parents who love to travel. She has spent most of her life in Curitiba, Brazil, moved to live in the other side of the world in Sydney, Australia and currently resides in São Paulo, majoring in Literature at the University of São Paulo. She discovered her writing passion after winning a contest on writing a letter to Santa Claus at ten years old, and has never stopped writing since. She reads every type of science-fiction and young-adult, and has a mother that is a passionate fan of Star Wars – which would explain her literary tastes.

Laura enjoys reading, Disney movies, crappy tv-shows and has developed a passion for collecting recipes that she will never actually cook. She is also a Photoshop addict, a coffee-enthusiast and has an unhealthy obsession with languages and linguistics. She also likes dragons – but then again, who doesn’t?
